How To Qualify For AUC-UNDP African Young Women Leaders Fellowship

To qualify for the AUC-UNDP African Young Women Leaders Fellowship Programme, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  1. You must be an African citizen.
  2. You must be between the ages of 25 and 35.
  3. You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
  4. You must have a strong commitment to social justice and gender equality.

The AUC-UNDP African Young Women Leaders Fellowship requires that all applicants have a strong command of the English language. This is because the fellowship program will be conducted in English.

If you are not a native English speaker, you may be able to demonstrate your English language proficiency by submitting one of the following:

  • A TOEFL score of about 70 or higher.
  • An IELTS score of 6.5 or higher.
  • A Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) score of 180 or higher.

You may also be able to demonstrate your English language proficiency by submitting a writing sample or by taking an English language proficiency test at a local testing center.

Steps On How To Apply For The AUC-UNDP African Young Women Leaders Fellowship

The first six months of the fellowship will be spent in Addis Ababa, where the participants will participate in a training program in leadership, policy, and advocacy.
